Billing/cancellations: How to cancel your Simply Piano subscription renewal

⚠️ Uninstalling or deleting the app does not automatically cancel your subscription. First, you'll need to follow the steps below.

Follow the steps below ⬇️ to cancel your subscription and stop it from renewing after the current period ends. The same steps also work to cancel your free trial and avoid being charged (as long as you cancel the trial at least 24 hours before the trial ends).

For App Store Purchases 🍏

  1. Launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad

  2. Tap your name

  3. Tap on Subscriptions and choose Simply Piano

  4. Tap on "Cancel Subscription"

For Google Play Purchases 🤖

  1. Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device

  2. Tap the profile on the top right to make sure you’re signed in to the correct Google Account

  3. Tap on the Account, followed by Payments & Subscriptions

  4. Select Simply Piano

  5. Tap Cancel subscription

  6. Follow the instructions

For Direct Credit Card Purchases 💳

🤖 If you have an Android device

In the app, tap Menu ☰ > Settings > My Account > Manage > Cancel Renewal

🍏 If you have an iOS device

Contact our support team, either through the app or via e-mail (piano@hellosimply.com) and we'll get that canceled for you 💪

For PayPal Purchases 💲

1. Log in to your PayPal account

2. Click the gear icon ⚙ on the top right corner of the page to view your account

3. Click Payments

4. Then click Automatic Payments

5. Select the JoyTunes merchant (or Simply by JoyTunes) and click Cancel

6. Follow the instructions to cancel the subscription

Important: What happens when you cancel?

  • Canceling your subscription does not stop it immediately

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period

  • You’ll continue to enjoy full access until that date

  • After that, your subscription will end, and you won’t be charged again

👉 This means that in most cases, plan changes take effect after your current subscription ends.
