How does the Song Library work?

Written by Debra

What is 'Songs' and how can I access it?

Our song library, known as 'Songs' (some learners may see this labelled Play), is the place to find just the song you're looking for! 🎧 Whether you’ve got a song stuck in your head, want to play something special for a special occasion, or are simply in the mood for something fun, Songs is jam-packed with music from all kinds of genres, all adjusted to your playing level.

To access 'Songs', go to the course overview and tap the Songs (or Play) icon on the left-hand side. It will open up for you as soon as you've completed the first two lessons in Essentials I ("Reminder" and "Rhythm I" for adults; "The notes F&G" and "Circle of Life" for kids) 🎉.

💡 You'll need a subscription to be able to unlock 'Songs'.

Are there any features that I need to know about?

The features in the song library are the same as in the moving stages of our courses.

Tip: Clicking the heart icon on any song in the library will add this song to your favorites.

How do I search for a song?

Click the magnifying glass icon in the top-right corner of the screen and type the name of any song or artist. If we have it, we'll show you. If we don't have it - don't worry! You'll see a button pop up "Can't find a song? Send us your requests". Just press there to submit a request for the song you'd like.

We love hearing what songs you'd like us to add. We can't promise, but we'll add as many requests as we can 🤞
