What is PLAY and how can I access it?
Get ready for some fun with PLAY - a huge library of interactive sheet music grouped by genre. 🎉 To find PLAY, simply head to the main menu on the left of the app's main screen.
You'll unlock this awesome feature once you complete 80% of Essentials III or 30% of any later course. Get set to play your heart out! 🎶
💡 You'll need a subscription to be able to unlock PLAY.
What are some of the features available in PLAY?
Listen👂: Hear the song - or a section of a song - to understand how it should be played
Teach Me 🎓: Explore the song with a series of exercises designed to help you learn each stage of the song, followed by being able to play the full song as a moving stage
Play 🎼: Play parts of - or the whole song - as a moving stage, just like in the courses (iOS only)
Feedback ✅: Follow the vertical blue cursor to get instant live feedback on your playing (iOS only)
Auto Scroll ↔️: Sheet music will steadily roll down so you don't have to lift your hand from the piano; the speed can be adjusted by dragging the bar
My Library 💜: Save your favorite songs so you can easily find them later
* Tempo options will appear in the moving stages of 'Teach Me' and 'Play' (check the top left section of the screen).
Tip: Songs in PLAY come in different levels - Essentials, Intermediate and Pre-Advanced. Make sure you play the level that feels most comfortable for you!
💡 Heads up, our 'Play' & 'Feedback' features are currently available for iOS devices. These are not yet available on Android devices.
