Using Education Savings Account (ESA) funds with Simply Piano

Good news! Families in some U.S. states can use Education Savings Account (ESA) funds to purchase eligible Simply Piano subscriptions.

We're gradually expanding our ESA program, and Arizona and Florida are currently supported. If you don't see your state yet, we'll be adding more soon.

Which states are currently supported?

We currently provide ESA purchasing or reimbursement guidance for:

  • Arizona

  • Florida

We're actively working to add more states and will keep this page updated as new states become available.

Which subscriptions are eligible?

At the moment, eligible individual Simply Piano subscriptions are available through participating ESA programs. Family and Duo subscriptions aren't currently available through ESA programs, as most ESA providers only approve purchases for the individual eligible student.

The available individual subscription options may vary by ESA program.

How do I use ESA funds to purchase Simply Piano?

The exact process depends on your state's ESA program.

Some states allow direct payment through an approved vendor, while others ask you to purchase your subscription first and then submit a reimbursement request.

Because every state has slightly different requirements, it's always worth checking your state's instructions before purchasing. That way, you'll know exactly which steps to follow.

I already have a Simply Piano subscription. Can I switch it to ESA?

It depends on how your state's ESA program works.

  • Reimbursement states (such as Florida): You can purchase a new eligible Simply Piano subscription and submit it for reimbursement, following your state's requirements.

  • Marketplace or direct-pay states (such as Arizona): Existing subscriptions can't be converted to ESA purchases. Eligible subscriptions must be purchased through the state's approved ESA purchasing process.
