How to hide a song (kids profiles)

Written by Debra

We automatically hide songs with explicit content from children's profiles. Every family is different, though, so if there are any other songs you'd prefer your child not to see, you can easily hide those too 👨‍👩‍👧.

Children's profiles are designed for learners aged 4–10.

How to hide a song

1. Open your child's profile and tap Songs from the side menu

2. Tap the shield icon at the top of the Song Library

3. Find the song you'd like to hide. You can browse the library or use the search icon if that's easier.

4. Tap the red X next to the song

5. Select Hide Song to confirm

6. You can continue hiding more songs, or tap Cancel when you're finished

That's it! The song will no longer appear in that child's Song Library.

💡 Just a heads up: Songs that are part of lessons and courses can't be hidden, as they're built into your child's learning journey.

Don't see the option to hide songs?

This feature is currently available on iPhone and iPad for kids' profiles only, and is being gradually rolled out to more learners.

If you're using an iPhone or iPad but don't see the shield icon yet, just get in touch with our team, and we'll be happy to switch the feature on for you.

We're also working on bringing this feature to Android, but it isn't available there just yet.
