Paying with my Apple/Google gift card balance

Can I pay for my subscription using an Apple or Google Play gift card balance?

Yes! You can use your Apple or Google Play gift card balance to pay for a subscription when subscribing through the app on your device, and as long as this payment method is available in your country.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Check that you can use your Apple/Google balance as an accepted payment method in your region:

  2. Redeem the gift card to your Apple ID or Google Play account:

  3. Make sure the gift card is set as your default payment method on your device

    2. Changing the payment method with Google Play

  4. Subscribe through the app, and your balance will be used automatically

A couple of important things to keep in mind:

  • Gift cards are tied to your app store region (they may not work if purchased in a different country)

  • Subscription options and pricing may differ in the app store Vs our website

  • We’re not able to manage app store payments directly (Apple/Google handle those)
