From time to time, Simply Piano launches special in-app challenges designed to celebrate your musical journey. These limited-time events are your chance to learn exciting new songs, track your progress, and earn exclusive rewards... all while having fun! ✨
You might see different challenges depending on how you use Simply Piano. For example, if your child is using the app, they may see a special challenge designed just for kids on their profile.
If you’ve heard about a challenge but can’t find it, it may not be available on your current profile - but don’t worry, there’s always something fun to join! 🎹
🌟 How do our challenges work?
Our challenges are open to all Simply Piano subscribers who have completed at least 70% of Essentials I, or for a kid's profile, they need to have passed "Let It Go" in Course 2 :)
Each challenge runs for a limited amount of time and features a curated set of songs.
New songs are released each week, so there’s always something fresh to look forward to!
Songs are tailored to your level, with multiple difficulty options - and you can level up or down anytime to find your perfect fit.
Along the way, you’ll collect stars, unlock badges, and sometimes even receive surprise rewards!
💡 Once a challenge ends, the songs don’t disappear forever - they’re added to Play / Sheet Music, so you can keep enjoying them even after the challenge is over.
🎁 Rewards and recognition
Challenges aren’t just about practice, they come with extra motivation:
Earn in-app badges as you complete songs! When you reach a milestone, you’ll see a special badge screen celebrating your progress. (Badge screens are only shown once per milestone in each challenge).
Collect stars to unlock certificates or prizes that celebrate your progress.
Share your achievements with friends and family to mark your musical milestones!
Why doesn't my challenge email say which profile completed the challenge?
Challenge emails and certificates may not specify which profile completed the challenge. If multiple profiles use the same account, you can check each profile in the app to see its challenge progress and completed rewards.
If it looks like a certificate is missing, let us know, and we'll be happy to help! ☺️
