Log in on Multiple Devices

You can open your Simply Guitar progress & subscription on multiple devices by logging in with the same email address you used previously.

How do I login on my new device?

Once you install Simply Guitar on your new phone/tablet, press the "Sign In" button next to "Already a Member" in the top right corner of the app's opening screen. Then, log in with the same email address you used before for Simply Guitar.

💡 We recommend you first double-check which email you used on your previous device. Go to Menu > My Account* on the previous device to see the email address used.

*If you see Anonymous on the 'My Account' page, this means the account was not linked to an email address and you will not be able to open your progress on another device. On the original device, just press 'Edit' to register an email address, then you'll be able to see your progress and subscription across multiple devices.


Using Apple ID to Log In

If you originally signed up using Sign in with Apple, your Simply Guitar account is connected to your Apple ID - not a regular email address.

To log in on a new device:

  1. Tap Sign in (next to "Already a Member" in the top right corner)

  2. Select the Apple icon

  3. Log in using the same Apple ID you used when you first signed up

💡 Important: Your new iPhone or iPad must be signed in with the same Apple ID for this to work.


Using a Different Apple ID?

If the device you’re using isn’t logged in with the same Apple ID, you won’t be able to log in using Apple.

In that case, you’ll need to add an email address to your account so you can log in across all devices more easily.

Here’s how to add an email address:

  1. Open Simply Guitar on your original device

  2. Go to Menu > My Account

  3. Tap Edit next to the email address field

  4. Add your email address

Once added, you can log in on any device using that email.

I'm on a Family Plan. Can we all use different devices?

You sure can! 🎉 Just make sure that each member of the family uses the same email account to log in, and then they should press Menu > Manage (top right) to switch to the relevant profile. The account can be used on multiple devices at the same time, so different profiles can progress at the same time.
