I'm new. How do I create an account?

If you've just downloaded the app for the first time:

1. Tap Get Started when you first open the app

2. Tap I'm New Here and then follow the steps on the screen

3. Enter your email address to create an account, then click Continue

I'm already in the app. How do I create an account?

1. Tap Menu (ā˜°) > then tap Sign Up

2. Enter your email address

3. Check that same email for a 4-digit code and enter it in the app

šŸ’” Didnā€™t get the code? Check your Spam, Promotions, or Ads folders - it sometimes hides there.

I subscribed online, how do I log in?

Simply Guitar is available on mobile & tablet devices, as well as Google Chromebooks. After subscribing on our website:

  1. If you don't have the app yet, download Simply Guitar from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store

  2. Press 'Sign In' in the top right corner of the opening screen

  3. Enter the email address you used to purchase online

  4. Enter the 4-digit verification code sent to that email

āš ļø Already have the app? If you've already downloaded Simply Guitar and have already logged in, you don't need to download it again. After completing your purchase on the website, force close and reopen the app - this allows it to sync with your online purchase and unlock your subscription.

How do I log into a new device? How do I log back in after reinstalling?

  1. Press 'Sign In' in the top right corner of the screen

  2. Enter the original email you used as your login

How can I see which email I used on my previous device?

On your other phone/tablet, go to Menu > My Account*

*If you see Anonymous written on the My Account page, that means the account wasn't linked to an email address and you'll need to add one to open your progress on another device. Just press the 'edit' button to add an email.

I logged out by mistake. How do I log back in?

If you are logged out of your account, you will see Guest after tapping on Menu (ā˜°). Just follow these steps to log back in šŸ˜Š.

  1. Tap Menu (ā˜°)

  2. Tap on Sign Up

  3. Enter the email you used to sign up

  4. You'll receive a 4-digit verification code to that same email, which you'll have to enter when prompted. If you don't receive the 4-digit code, please check other folders in your inbox such as 'Spam', 'Promotions', 'Ads' etc.

šŸ’” Heads up: You do not need a password to login to Simply Guitar. You will only ever need your email address and the 4-digit code, which will be re-emailed to you anytime you need to login again.

I'm logged into the wrong account. How do I switch?

First, you'll need to log out of the incorrect account:

1. Tap Menu > My Account

2. Tap Logout

Then, you'll need to sign in to the correct account:

3. Tap Menu > then tap Sign Up

4. Enter the correct email address and press Continue

4. Enter the 4-digit code, which will be sent to that same email address. If you don't receive the code, check other email folders such as 'Spam', 'Promotions', 'Ads' etc.
