Tom’s Stories is a short, fun story series inside Simply Draw where our awesome teacher Tom shares personal, kid-friendly stories to inspire creativity and confidence 🎨
What can I expect from each story?
Short "storytime" episodes (about 1–1.5 minutes) 🎬
A simple drawing idea at the end to help kids start creating right away ✏️
Where can I find Tom’s Stories?
Once it's available in your profile, you'll see a Stories button in the side menu of the app.
When a new story becomes available, you may also see a tooltip pointing to the Stories button to help you find it. 👈✨

Tom's Stories is currently available:
To subscribers with English added as one of their device languages ⭐
On iOS devices only 🍏
One week after starting a subscription (to help new learners settle into their drawing journey first) 🌱
If you've recently subscribed, you may not see the Stories button right away.
Language requirement
Tom's Stories is available if English is included as one of your device's languages. You don't need to change your device's primary language to English.
To add English to your device:
Open Settings
Go to General
Tap Language & Region
Tap Add Language
Choose English
Fully close Simply Draw and open it again
How many episodes are there? 🎥
Right now, there are just a few episodes available. When new episodes are added, you’ll still be able to go back and watch earlier ones 🔁
Tips for parents 👨👩👧
Use it as a starting point: Episodes are short on purpose - encourage your child to draw right after watching 🎨
Try Tom's ideas together: Each story ends with a drawing idea to help spark creativity 💡
Rewatching is great: Kids often enjoy repeating stories that make them feel inspired or confident 💪
