Camera permissions aren't working in Simply Draw

Written by Debra

Simply Draw needs access to your camera and photos to let you photograph your drawings and save them to your Journal πŸ“Έ. If you're seeing a permission error or the camera isn't opening, follow the steps below for your device.

🍏 On iPhone or iPad (iOS)

  1. Open the Settings app on your device

  2. Scroll down and tap Apps

  3. Find and tap Simply Draw

  4. Make sure the Camera is toggled on β€” this allows Simply Draw to take photos of your drawings

  5. Head back to Simply Draw and try again

πŸ€– On Android

  1. Open the Settings app on your device

  2. Tap Apps (or Application Manager, depending on your device)

  3. Find and tap Simply Draw

  4. Tap Permissions

  5. Make sure Camera is set to Allow

  6. Return to Simply Draw and try again
